What do you think of the Predictive Index Survey? I recently sent my resume to a company I am interested in working for.
I received the following email in response:
"xxxxxxxxxxxxx of xxxxxxxxxxxxx has arranged for you to complete a Predictive Index® (PI) Survey.
Thank you for your application and interest in joining the staff at xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. We ask all our applicants to please fill out a small survey. If your application meets our minimum requirements, we will contact you within 30 to 60 days.
Thank you,
Human Resources Dept
To complete the Predictive Index, please click the web link listed below or copy and paste the URL into your Internet explorer address bar, and use the single-use Username and Password log-in. (Note: Please turn off or disable any popup blockers you may be using, as these often interfere with the loading of the Predictive Index Survey."
I presume I meet the minimum requirements of the application or they would not have gone to the trouble and expense to have me take the "survey."
The survey consisted of two identical pages of adjectives. On the first page I was asked to mark those words that I thought others expected of me. On the second page I was asked to mark the words that I thought described me.
There is a lot of information about this test on the internet. What do you think?
